Adding to Outlook (Windows):
  1. Open Outlook → File → Account Settings → Account Settings
  2. Click New → select Manual setup or additional server types → Next
  3. Select POP or IMAP → Next
  4. Enter your name, email = —
  5. Account Type: IMAP, Incoming server: localhost, Outgoing server: localhost
  6. Use the ports and credentials from above
  7. Click More Settings → Outgoing Server → check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
  8. Under Advanced: IMAP port 1143, SMTP port 1025, No encryption
  9. Click OK → Next → Outlook will test the connection

Thunderbird:
  1. Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Mail Account
  2. Enter name, email, password → Manual config
  3. IMAP: localhost port 1143, No SSL
  4. SMTP: localhost port 1025, No SSL
  5. Click Re-test → Done

Apple Mail (macOS):
  1. Mail → Ajustes → Contas → + → Outra conta de Mail…
  2. Em Ajustes de Servidor, desmarque Gerenciar ajustes de conexão automaticamente (IMAP e SMTP)
  3. Host IMAP/SMTP: localhost only — not localhost:1143
  4. Portas: IMAP 1143, SMTP 1025 — SSL/TLS off on both
  5. SMTP user = — (required), same password as IMAP
  6. Advanced: TLS certificate None, enable Allow insecure authentication
